For Premature babies or babies that are hospitalized, consult with the hospital.
Thawing- Thaw slowly in the refrigerator (putting it in the fridge the night before you need it). Avoid letting milk sit out at room temperature to thaw.
- For quicker thawing, hold container under warm running water, not so hot that burns, it will affect milk too.
Do not refreeze previously thawed milk. Leftovers are good for 2 hrs if refrigerated.
